I have been coming to Cape Cod every summer for many years - it's the one place I associate with the feeling of summer and family. And although the Cape is known for its great beaches - which we have enjoyed to the fullest - the fact that there have been an increasing presence of great white sharks on the ocean beaches over the last years (with various attacks and fatalities) has led our family to visit the Cape's lakes much more often. In fact, it's here that we now meet up and hang as a family, enjoying the beauty and coolness of the lake on a daily basis. With its ever-changing scenery, light and mood, it serves as the perfect backdrop to record day-to-day family moments, as well as the yearly physical changes I notice in my children and family.
